It is always exciting to see what consumers have been up to for a current year and what they may be pitted to do in a subsequent year. Trend Watching predicts some momentous trends fro 2013. Here are some ‘spot-on’ predictions that made it onto our list include:
1. The age of the proactive consumer
Can PR use R&D for more consumer engagement and better sales? Crowd funding reveals some opportunities. It is going to be a year of proactive consumers willing to get involved in shaping the products or services that they enjoy. This is measurable on the various crowd sourcing platforms that are allowing consumers to pledge support for the brands they love and the products they care about.
